From September 2007 - May 2008, I was a missionary in Blantyre, Malawi working with a program called HOPE for AIDS.
This blog is a record of my thoughts, prayers, experiences and updates from the field. It's important to note that this is a process. The things that you read here are not always 100% accurate, and most likely do not give the full picture of what Malawi is really like. Like I said... it's a process. I would love for you to join this process with me, but in order to do so, you will need to read with an open mind, and hold your own ideas very loosely.

The fact is, as much as we try not to, we all see things through eyes that are tented with our own cultures. To deny that is foolish. Keep that in mind when you are reading.
